Welcome to my writing portfolio!
I'm Shannon Elaine, a Boston-based writer passionate about many professional and creative forms of writing. As a licensed esthetician and professional makeup artist, I have shared my knowledge by creating social media content for brands such as Lush Cosmetics and writing blog articles for beauty salons. I'm an MFA candidate at Emerson College for Popular Fiction & Publishing this Fall and aBachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and English. I've also studied extensively at creating writing hub Grubstreet, in Seaport, Boston, MA.

2020 - Present
Assisted owner in rebranding salon, including website design and social media channels utilizing Canva, Google Docs, and Microsoft Word. Continues to create content for Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok. Writes engaging blog posts for the website.
2019 - 2020
Wrote blog articles for the salon's website, and created and hosted events in the salon to promote brand awareness and customer relationships.
2018 - 2019
Created visual content for Sephora's Lynnfield location for the shop's Instagram to build and maintain brand awareness and customer relationships.
2013 - 2018
Social Media Manager for Lush Cosmetics Northshore shop. In charge of creating content for the shop's Facebook page to maintain brand awareness and customer relationsips.
